Campus Involvement

Our dedication to Read Lead Achieve couldn't be captured in one philanthropy-- so we decided to host two! Unique from a majority of other Greek groups on campus, Pepperdine Pi Phi throws a philanthropy event each semester to raise money for chidlren's literacy.

FALL SEMESTER - PIE WITH THE PI PHIS

Pie with the Pi Phis (essentially a massive bake sale in the university cafeteria), proves to be a big success and lots of fun year after year. One of our favorite things about this philanthropy is that affiliated and non-affiliated students flock to the event- because who doesn't love sweets (especially when a sweet Pi Phi is serving them to you)? Add in a mechanical bull riding contest and the oppurtunity to pie your favorite (or least favorite) Pi Phi in the face, and you have a guarenteed good time for a good cause!

SPRING SEMESTER - ARROWSPIKE

Arrowspike is the Malibu sand volleyball tournament that dreams are made of. Under the California sun, teams pay to compete for the coveted Arrowspike championship. Spikeball, breakfast burritos and refreshments add to the fun! Things get pretty competitive out there, so make sure to bring your A game and let's spike children's illiteracy together.
